These rules are the standard that we use for all games, however some events may have additional rules. If you have questions, just ask.
[last revision 8.14.10]
1.00 Safety
---------------------------------------
NO Firing(includes dry fire) in any zone that is designated at NO SHOOT ZONE or STAGING AREA. While in these no fire zones, you are expected to have your mag out of your gun, safety on and have a barrel blocker on your barrel.
No Blind Firing!!!! You MUST BE ABLE TO SEE YOUR TARGET!
No Pyro or smoke is allowed at this event.
1.1 Safety Kills
For the safety of all, players who approach an unaware opposing player within 10' must utilize a "Safety Kill" by calling out aloud, "BANG!... You're dead" to the opposing player. At that time, the unaware opposing player must honor the "Safety Kill" and follow appropriate medic and/or re-spawn procedures. Remember, SAFETY FIRST!... Engagements within 10' should be avoided at all costs. NOTE: You can only bang kill ONE PLAYER EVERY 3 SECONDS. Ex. BANG 1...2...3 BANG
2.0 Magazine Restrictions:
-------------------------------------------------------------
Magazine restrictions will be used for most events:
- ONLY Low/Reg/Mid capacity magazines are authorized. These mags are defined as any non-winding magazine.
- ONLY support weapons will be allowed to use cmag/drum/electric/box mags.
2.1 Grenades/Rockets
As of right now, there are no moving vehicles on the field, so no nerf rockets or slugs. This may change, but the use of nerf rockets/slugs will be "mission specific" and the info will be provided in your player packets when the use of said items will be relevant.
BB shower grenades ARE allowed.
2.2 Weapon Restrictions
See official game post
3.0 Hit details.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
To avoid any confusion, everything except a gun-in-hand will be accountable for the hit(IF YOU ARE HIT ON THE HAND, YOU ARE OUT). This means that every BB hitting bags, hats, rags, shemaghs, boots, friendly-fire, etc will count as "hit". Any holstered or slinged weapons being hit will also count as a legal hit. Immediately after you are hit,
1)You are to YELL HIT! HIT! HIT! (YOU MUST YELL, it is propper player conduct to let the opposing player know you have been hit. It's busch league to take a hit and not yell hit)
2)Then put a dead rag on your head and call for a medic (have kill kard in-hand, if applicable).
4.0 Uniform Requirements:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Uniform rules are different for each game. Check the official game post for specific requirements.
If it's hot and you would like to subsitute your top for short sleeves, you must have the proper uniform t-shirt.
4.1 goggles and gear
ONLY ANSI 87.1 rated goggles will be allowed in the field. Goggles also have to be full sealed and retained by a strap.
It is recommended to use a full face mask, but it is not mandatory for players 18 and over. Players 17 and under must wear a full face paintball mask. Teeth protection (i.e. mouth guard) is also a good item to carry around. Combat or hiking boots are required. We also recommend that players play with long sleeve tops and full pants to avoid scratches, bruises, bug bites and poison ivy. There are also thorn bushes throughout the field.
5.0 FPS
---------------
*Different venues have different FPS limits.
450 FPS w/ .20 gram bb NO EXCEPTIONS
All AEGs, and Bolt Actions, will need to be chronographed before entering the field. Each gun will be tagged and logged in the player database. All players using a registered weapon will be held responsible for any fps discrepancies during the event. Several tricks are known for FPS cheating and we know them all. Organizers reserve the right to randomly spot check any gun/ammo at any time during event. FPS violations will be dealt with severely.
***You are responsible for knowing the FPS of your weapon. If you show up and your gun shoots too hot, you will not be allowed to use that gun on the field. There are no refunds.***
*VELOCITY REDUCERS ARE NEVER ALLOWED AT MAA OR TOC EVENTS/GAMES.
5.1 Close Quarters Combat
Some fields are classified as CQC fields. CQC fields have a maximum FPS of 365 w/ .20 gram bb, although it may be lower. See the official game post for specific FPS requirements.
Mission Creek field - TOC FPS limit is currently at 365 FPS w/ .20 gram bb.
6.0 Medic Rules ( ALL PLAYERS MUST READ!)
-------------------------
*Certain games will have modified medic rules. In some cases, they will not be the same for both teams. See official game post for specific medic rules.
How to use Medikits:
Tape system. Medic will wrap two rows of tape on the wounded players arm.
- Players are NOT allowed to have a gun-in-hand while healing a wounded player. The healing player must holster, sling over back, or put weapon on the ground while healing.
- You can never heal yourself.
*Kill Cards and Bleed-outs
-Bleed-out- Once you are hit, you must wait a minimum of 5 minutes in the spot where you are hit, you cannot move. Once 5 minutes has elapsed you can return to your factions nearest respawn.
-Kill Kards- Once you are hit, you must yell hit, pull out your dead rag, and have your kill kard in-hand ready to hand to an enemy player if asked.
7.0 Player Conduct
----------------------------------------------------------------------
All players are expected to behave in the staging and playing area. Being said, all players should:
- Play with honor and integrity. Airsoft depends on sportsmanship so CALL YOUR HITS.
- Dead players don't talk or gesture. Call for a medic, nothing more.
- Respect the environment. Trash cans are there for a reason.
- Animals can't shoot back, leave them alone.
- Foul language will not be tolerated. Not everyone thinks cussing and yelling is cool; keep it to a minimum and to yourself.
- Physical contact between players with an aggressive manner will not be tolerated. Players involved in any physical aggression will be expelled, suspended or turned over to local Police.
- We are all friends. Always take care of the guy beside you, friend or foe. If you have any doubts about a player, don't be shy to ask if he needs assistance, even if it is just for some water.
- Players caught stealing will be turned over to law enforcement and blacklisted from all future TOC events, and the incident will be reported to all major airsoft organizations, and field owners/operators.
8.0 BLINDMAN RULE
-----------------------------------------------
If at any point during gameplay you hear the word BLINDMAN, do the following:
1.YELL BLINDMAN so everyone else around you hears it. Put your safety on your gun.
2. YELL BLINDMAN so everyone else around you hears it.
3. Wait for Ref's instructions.
DO NOT REMOVE YOUR GOGGLES!!!!!
The blindman may be called if someone is injured or if a player accidentally had their goggles removed.
9.0 Communication interception. (radio scanning)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Frequency
scanning is not allowed unless specified by mission. See official game post for details, or if not posted, ask your CO. Organizers and key
players will make sure there is no
infraction on this subject. Players being caught scanning frequencies
will be expelled from the field and a warning will be given to his
affiliated team.
10.0 HAVE FUN!
------------------------
It's required.
